#LIMITLESS THE MOVIE STREAMING SERIES#Ordinarily, a crime drama series like this would make for potentially thrilling viewing if it was a work of fiction. But, in an environment where nobody is as they seem, Edelstein must navigate a scene rich with morally gray characters, and where the lines between the law and organized crime become increasingly blurry. Taken under the wing of veteran police chief Hiroto Katagiri (Ken Watanabe), Edelstein begins to explore the dark and dangerous world of Japanese crime syndicates. Set in the late 1990s, Tokyo Vice stars Ansel Elgort (West Side Story, Baby Driver) as Edelstein, a US journalist who relocates to the Japanese capital to join a major newspaper as their first foreign reporter. #LIMITLESS THE MOVIE STREAMING TV#The world of the Yakuza is brought into stark reality in this TV adaptation of Jake Edelstein's 2009 memoir of the same name. Norton's Banner, though, doesn't have an easy time of trying to cure his ailment – General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross (the late Willian Hurt) and rival scientist Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) – want to track him down for their own nefarious means, inevitably leading to a crunch superhero/supervillain showdown in the film's final act. Starring Edward Norton as Bruce Banner (and his angry alter-ego), The Incredible Hulk sees the famed scientist trying to find a cure to the gamma radiation contaminating his cells, which also happen to be the reason behind his, well, Hulking out. #LIMITLESS THE MOVIE STREAMING PLUS#Still, we'll get more of Mark Ruffalo's mean green machine in She-Hulk on Disney Plus later this year. #LIMITLESS THE MOVIE STREAMING MOVIE#The 2008 Universal Pictures superhero movie joins HBO Max's film roster, which cements the fact that we won't be getting a solo Hulk MCU movie anytime soon. Anything you'd like to share with us, Mr.Okay, so it's not the best MCU movie out there – in fact, if you believe IMDb's ratings for every Marvel film to date, it's actually ranked as one of the worst.īut The Incredible Hulk's streaming debut, especially as it's not coming to Disney Plus, is worth talking about. Although, it is important to note that I watched Limitless in a theatre, whereas I'm usually a DVD guy, and films are always more impressive on the Silver Screen, so after a second watch, I may or may not appreciate it less, for now though, my score still stands.Īs an interesting final note to leave you with, the effects of the drug were remarkably realistic. Much of how I rate this film will be attributed solely to that. Honestly, forget everything, even if you hate action, drugs, Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro (who's a very minor goodguy-come-badguy, don't believe the trailer), The Dark Fields, techno-thriller and movies in general, I cannot recommend this film enough, simply for the art direction. Too be far I'm sure a lot of it was Neil Burger's doing too. Not to mention the fact that the cinematography was incredible! Find the DoP from this film and put him in charge of like, everything, ever. Thankfully, the actors pick up the slack, and basically everybody was worth watching in the latter half of the film. It makes you think, sure, but the plot holes and poorly written characters are not terribly entrancing. Why am I qualified to do this? I'm not, I just want to. I much prefer to tell my readers what the movie IS. But that's just the first couple of minutes, and afterwards it doesn't really have that much more getting in the way of its suspension of disbelief.īut enough about the story, you can go anywhere and read what the movie is about, a blurb on the back of your DVD is no more or less likely to give you a quick plausibly true account of what happens in a movie than some reviewer on the web, there's already plenty of those going around. So, as you can see, there's already already a couple of dodgy odds and ends, (although I was glad to hear that the drug was in actual fact not legal, and the dealer was just lying, made the fact that not every single person on the planet was using it more viable). #LIMITLESS THE MOVIE STREAMING FULL#He tells Eddie that the drug is FDA approved, and that it will help him access the full potential of his mind, but that's really all the info he gets, then naturally, Eddie decides to take the strange clear pill. ![]() I think Bradley Cooper is fantastic, and his presence even managed to convince me to watch American Comedy (which as a general rule I disdain) The Hangover.Įddie is given a drug by his ex-wife's brother (so naturally they're great friends =|). Based on the novel The Dark Fields by Alan Gynn, the film is about desperate, depressed and dumped amateur writer Eddie Morra (Eddie Spinola in the book) who is played by Bradley Cooper (above). ![]()
